What a Production Assembler will do:
  • Perform several basic and routine electronic/mechanical assembly operations on components or subassemblies
  • Utilize visual aids, and verbal and written instructions to assemble, modify, rework, or reassemble units
  • Utilize soldering, cable connectors, and wire harness techniques
  • Use tools such as drills, soldering irons, screwdrivers, precision measuring instruments, and other hand-held tools.
  • Responsible for performing routine tests to ensure production quality standards are met

What you need to be a Production Assembler:
  • Previous assembly experience or hobbies with fine motor skills
  • Ability to sit for 9.5 hours at a time, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Must be comfortable using a microscope for the assembly
