As a Millwork Specialist with Heritage Design + Supply, you will partner with the sales, design and shop team to construct custom structures to include, but not be limited to, hoods, mantles for customer home build and remodels.

You must know how to read and interpret supplied drawings, work with raw and finished materials, and have a good working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Recommend materials that are appropriate based on the product that is being constructed

Cut, shape, and alter materials as needed, working with material and tools to include, but be limited to, table saws, band saws, routers, sanders, etc.

Measure and mark materials for alterations
Work closely with other internal team members to ensure a high level of quality for final result
Maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition
Conduct inspection and identify needed repairs
Required Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Minimum of 3+ years of general carpentry experience and completion of an apprenticeship, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills (in English)
Ability to use knowledge of mathematics and measurement effectively
Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions, technical diagrams, and schematics
Demonstrated ability to operate hand, air, and power tools

Physical Requirements:

Ability to read, write with prolonged periods of standing, bending, squatting, working with a variety of building and construction tools.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
