Join our team as a Pediatric Dentist at CommUnityCare Health Centers, where you will provide advanced comprehensive dental care to pediatric, adolescent, and special needs patients under the guidance of the Director of Dental Services. Your role involves delivering patient-centered care, promoting preventive treatments, and performing invasive treatments when necessary while ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental services for patients aged 6 months to 18 years
• Accurately report and document patient status and care rendered
• Maintain patient follow-up procedures
• Respond to inquiries regarding dental health and treatments
• Collaborate with the care team to provide high-quality patient-centered care
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and families
• Uphold company policies and procedures
• Complete all mandatory training and maintain credentials

• Proficiency in relevant dental practices and clinical operations

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited dental school with a DDS or DMD degree
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Pediatric certificate from an accredited US Dental School
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year in a pediatric dental care practice
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Conscious sedation and hospital-based dental treatment
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Licensed to practice dentistry in Texas, DEA certification, Sedation certification
