RN - Nurse Supervisor Functions:
Assist the Director of Nursing Services (the "Director") in directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the Facility
Ensure that all nursing service personnel comply with their respective job descriptions. Periodically review the resident's written discharge plan.
Participate in the updating of the resident's written discharge plan as required.
Provide direct nursing care, as necessary.
Start IVs, obtain sputum, urine and other specimens for lab tests as ordered. Take TPRs, blood pressures, etc., as necessary.
Admit, transfer, and discharge residents, as necessary.

Monitor & Review medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.


RN - Nurse Supervisor Required Education:
Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved RN program.

Requirements For RN - Nurse Supervisor:
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN/LVN in this state.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
