Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements:
- Licensure in Virginia or eligibility depending on employment background.
- Current LPN Licensure in Virginia and AHA BLS Certification or equivalent.

Experience:
REQUIRED: Varies based on transitional duty assignment.
PREFERRED: Experience as an LPN in an acute care setting or relevant area of practice.

Education/Training:
REQUIRED: Graduate from a Board of Nursing approved School of Practical Nursing.
Supervisory responsibilities: None

Additional position requirements:
- LPNs work all shifts, weekends, and holidays with schedules determined by Nurse Manager/Practice Manager.
- Shift rotations and schedules may be adjusted as needed to meet unit requirements.

Physical Requirements:
- Lifting lbs.
- Exposure to potentially hazardous substances.
- Activities include standing, sitting, bending, walking, climbing, and reaching.

Mental/Sensory Requirements:
Strong recall, reasoning, problem-solving, hearing, clear speech, legible writing, reading, and logical thinking.

Emotional Requirements:
Steady pace, customer interactions, noisy environment, adaptability to change.
