Position Summary
This exciting role comes with a $2500 retention bonus for external candidates who join our team. You'll receive a portion of this bonus after 3 months with us and the remainder after a year.*

As a Pharmacy Technician I specializing in Sterile Compounding, you'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, compounding specialized and intricate therapies in a pristine clean room environment. Your crucial role as a Pharmacy Technician ensures timely delivery of medications to patients. You'll work closely with pharmacists to provide specialty infusion services, delivering these services directly to patients in their homes.
Joining the Coram Sterile Compounding team, you'll leverage your clinical expertise to offer patients seamless medication services in the comfort of their homes. Your personal touch and clinical know-how will make a profound impact on the one-on-one care we provide to our patients.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician I - Sterile Compounding:

- Preparation and compounding of sterile products
- Maintaining the pharmacy clean room suite to 797 requirements
- Documenting IV admixture and clean room suite sterility testing
- Completing order entry and refills under the pharmacist's supervision
- Managing inventory and storage, along with accurate documentation such as labels, log sheets, and reports
- Participating in on-call rotations based on staffing and business needs
- Demonstrating exceptional written and verbal customer service skills, as well as advanced computer expertise for effective collaboration with key partners and patients
- Additional licensure may be necessary in multi-state service areas

Required Qualifications
- Active state Pharmacy Technician license required as per state regulations
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician

Preferred Qualifications

- National Pharmacy Technician certification desired
- 2+ years of experience in IV compounding

Educational Requirements

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is a must
