Job Title: General Internal Medicine Physician at the University of Kentucky

  • The University of Kentucky, Department of Internal Medicine, is looking for a skilled physician to join our General Internal Medicine clinic.
  • This role involves providing patient care in the clinic and serving as an ambulatory Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine residency program.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Provide care in a collaborative team-based model with APPs, physicians, and residents.
  • Supervise residents and other learners in the clinic.
  • Participate in community outreach programs, health education initiatives, and healthcare professional education.

Associate Program Director Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of the program's ambulatory curriculum.
  • Assist in recruiting and retaining diverse residents.
  • Create an inclusive learning environment and contribute to scholarship in graduate medical education.

Applicants must be board eligible or board certified in internal medicine and committed to the values of the University of Kentucky.
