Job Description

Commercial and Residential Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to handle the upkeep and cleanliness of buildings, landscaping, amenities, parking lots, and trash areas for Center Plaza and Greenbrier at Tanasbourne apartment communities. The Maintenance Technician I will assist with essential maintenance tasks such as repairs, carpentry, electrical work, painting, landscaping, pool maintenance, and plumbing under experienced technicians' guidance.

This role demands keen attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to manage work orders using technology. If you have a maintenance background, enjoy working independently or in teams, and have a thirst for continual learning, we want to hear from you.

Location: Center Plaza Apartments and Greenbrier at Tanasbourne (Beaverton, OR)

Hourly Rate: $18-$22/hr.

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Weekly Hours: 40 hrs.

Additional Perks: $25.00 monthly cell phone stipend, mileage reimbursement for business-related travel.

Requirements for Maintenance Technician I:

  • Housekeeping Porter or previous maintenance technician experience preferred.
  • Janitorial and pool maintenance experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated motivation, time management, and ability to work independently or in teams.
  • Proficiency in landscaping, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall work, flooring repair, pressure washer operation.
  • Capacity to lift up to 75 pounds, handle janitorial equipment and chemicals safely.
  • Available for after-hours emergencies, with reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, clean driving record, ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
  • Familiarity with landlord/tenant laws, Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, non-discriminatory practices.
