Michelin is currently looking for:
General Description:
This role involves ensuring safety, quality, and production of Michelin parts and services. The main responsibilities include completing scheduled production in a timely manner adhering to all safety and quality standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manually assembling production parts using provided machines and tools.
- Following safety procedures and guidelines diligently.
- Understanding and applying standard work instructions to specific tasks.
- Operating production equipment accurately and completing necessary documentation.
- Identifying and documenting any deviations from normal operations.
- Assisting in training new staff.
- Troubleshooting basic mechanical operations.
- Following instructions effectively.
- Collaborating with other departments for support.
- Using manufacturing knowledge to enhance process operations.
- Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
- Cross-training in different departments.
- Being open to overtime and weekend work when required.
- Supporting EMS, QMS & H&S systems.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned by management.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Moderate to loud noise level in the workplace.
- Ability to lift, push, pull items up to 45 pounds and work in a warm environment.
- Coordination of arms, hands, wrists, and fingers to assemble objects accurately.
- Requires focused attention to detail for safe and precise work.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
- Basic math and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license.
• 1-2 years' manufacturing experience preferred. - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing practices.
