**Summary of Job:**

Warehouse Associate is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels.****ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (include but are not limited to)****

Load and unload merchandise

Check, verify and audit merchandise and enter data into remote data terminals to ensure that ordered merchandise is as ordered and not damaged

Identify, separate, label and palletize merchandise to be relocated to appropriate area

Operate power lift equipment to move and store merchandise

Perform assigned internal control procedures to ensure documents are processed an submitted correctly

Process warranty claims with multiple manufacturers for warranty reimbursement. This is completed through web-based systems or an in-house warranty system.

Perform general housekeeping duties

Able to handle stress and job demands

Able to work cooperatively with others

Other duties as assigned by supervisor

****Education and Experience:****

High school diploma or GED

1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment

Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite products and MRP/ERP Software with the ability to be trained in use of the Company-specific applications and software

General knowledge and understanding of technical construction specifications and materials purchased (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)

Must be forklift certified

Must be EPA certified

Clean Driving record required

**Skills and Abilities:**

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet strict deadlines promptly

Detail oriented to ensure accuracy and thoroughness

****PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:****

Individuals may occasionally be exposed to hazardous conditions, high places and /or hazardous equipment. May work with or around chemicals that require knowledge of a safety data sheet.

Individuals in an office-based position will encounter ambient room temperatures, fluorescent lighting,

and will be expected to operate traditional office equipment as found in any typical office environment. Individuals may need to sit at a desk or table for long periods of time. An office worker may also be expected to spend long hours in front of a computer screen. A person in this position can be expected to reach over shoulder heights; crouch or stoop below the waist; experience repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds depending on the position.
