Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Administer medication
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Aid in mobility and transferring, including using lifting equipment if required
  • Follow care plans and report any changes in the client's condition
  • Care for individuals with special needs or developmental disabilities
  • Utilize specialized care techniques for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field
  • Knowledge of caregiving systems and techniques, including dementia and home care practices
  • Strong communication and interaction skills with clients and healthcare professionals
  • Compassionate and patient attitude towards individuals with diverse needs
  • Physical capability for tasks like lifting and bending
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay:
$20.00 per hour
