About the Job:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food orders, ensuring they meet quality standards and are served promptly. Your role will also involve assisting the Sous Chef with various operational tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all food items according to specified menus and recipes, checking inventory to determine daily needs.
  • Cook food orders, including meat, fish, and poultry, ensuring proper taste and presentation.
  • Maintain high quality and appearance standards for all prepared food items.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of food products to minimize waste.
  • Maintain inventory of food supplies and ingredients.
  • Practice food safety and sanitation procedures to uphold quality standards.
  • Operate kitchen equipment effectively and maintain cleanliness.
  • Communicate product needs and assist in ordering supplies when necessary.
  • Participate in training courses and stay informed about promotions and events.
  • Attend Kitchen Staff Meetings and perform other assigned duties.

Skills Required:

  • Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Food Handler's Card required.
  • 4-5 years of restaurant cooking experience.
  • 2-3 years of fine dining experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Point of Sales (POS) systems is a plus.
