Paver Operator

**Aerotek's client is looking for Paver Operators to assist with paving projects across the Maryland area.**

**Job Description:**

+ Operating and maintaining paving equipment and machinery.

+ Ensuring the proper application of asphalt or concrete on roads and surfaces, and following project plans and specifications to ensure the correct application of materials.

+ Inspecting paving equipment and machinery to ensure proper function, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

+ Assist with worksite preparation, coordinate with other crew members to complete projects within the given timeframe, and ensure that all work is completed in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

**Shift :**

+ Candidates must be open to working day or night shifts.

+ Monday to Saturday 06:00AM to 04:30PM

+ Sunday to Thursday 07:00PM to 05:00AM

**Additional Skills:**

+ 3+ years of Paver Operator experience

+ Experience in operating and maintaining paving equipment and machinery

+ Knowledge of the proper application of asphalt or concrete on roads and surfaces

+ Ability to follow project plans and specifications

+ Ability to inspect and perform routine maintenance on paving equipment and machinery

+ Knowledge of worksite preparation

+ Understanding of company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations

**Work Site**

+ Service areas include St. Mary's County thru Howard County and occasionally DC and Northern Virginia.
