Job Description:
We are seeking a DVT Test Technician to work on mechanical testing of next-generation X-box products

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will design / build simple pneumatic, electromechanical fixtures for automated testing.
  • Perform and lead simple test development and execution – fixtures/test/analysis and reports on components.
  • Contribute as a subject matter expert of testing performed.
  • Proficient in participating in bug/failure analysis.
  • Zero to 10% travel.

Required Skills:

  • 5 years relevant technical engineering experience OR BS/MS degree in Mechanical, Materials, Reliability, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 2 years of work experience in the consumer electronic industry including product quality, reliability, or manufacturing test
  • Proficiency in electromechanical test skills.
  • Basic understanding of the physics of failure and root cause analysis.
  • Proficient in analyzing data sets and extract the essence and use the data to recommend data driven decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in mechanical testing of consumer electronics.
  • Experience with Fanuc robot programming, DIC, High Speed DIC, instrumentation and Creo
  • Practical knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, CLCA, SPC, Pareto charts, FMEA, GR&R, FAI, CPK, PPAP etc.
  • Use and apply statistical analysis to evaluate product reliability and highlight potential product risks – Six Sigma Greenbelt is a plus.
