Paint Crew Foreman

The fundamental reason this position exists is to supervise the work of City paint crews.
Duties and responsibilities include evaluating customer painting needs and preparing to paint, planning, organizing, and directing the work of paint crews, and performing administrative duties.
The Paint Crew Foreman receives direct supervision from the Maintenance Shop Supervisor.Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Must have four (4) years painting experience to include at least two years of experience at the journeyman level and one (1) year of supervisory experience.
NOTE :
Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
Special Requirements
Must have and maintain a valid Alabama driver's license in order to drive city vehicle to oversee and participate in various painting projects of City facilities.
Physical ability to work indoors and outdoors for long periods of time, working in small confined areas, and high or low areas for extended periods of time.
Ability to drive city vehicles as needed to pick up paints and supplies and to travel to City facilities.Kind of Examination
