About the Position:
- Provide physical therapy services to residents following the Plan of Care and community guidelines
- Demonstrate specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill in line with psychological, biological, and social service principles
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Florida
- Minimum of one year experience in Physical Therapy
- CPR certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles
- Ability to pass screenings
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in using computers and electronic devices
- Ability to meet PRN Staffing Agreement requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical therapy assessments, tests, procedures, and evaluations for residents
- Provide educational support tailored to individual needs
- Contribute to quality improvement processes
- Ensure safety of residents and colleagues
- Supervise team members and assistants
- Evaluate employee performance
- Perform other related duties as necessary
