E/O Sat/S and E/O Friday from 11p-7a

Summary:
Responsible for accurate patient demographic data entry and verification in the hospital system.

Ensures benefit verification, obtains authorizations, and processes financial transactions.

Delivers excellent customer service as the initial point of contact for Virtua.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Enters patient information and verifies accuracy in the system.
  • Obtains necessary document signatures and processes paperwork.
  • Collects co-pays, deductibles, and deposits; resolves billing issues.
  • Provides referrals and payment assistance to patients in need.
  • Offers administrative support such as scheduling and filing.

Position Qualifications / Experience:
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a professional setting; medical office background preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage stressful situations and multitask effectively.

Basic computer skills required; familiarity with Epic system is a plus.

Required Education:
High School diploma

Training / Certification / Licensure:
Experience with Epic system preferred
