The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis is looking for a Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist to join their team. They are dedicated to providing cutting-edge and patient-centered care.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Responsible for inpatient attending on the liver service at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center.
- Outpatient liver clinics at M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center in Minneapolis.
- Provide consultations and outreach activities.
- Develop a clinical research program.
Be actively involved in the academic missions of the Department of Medicine and the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. Opportunities to teach medical students, residents, and Gastroenterology fellows are available. You can engage in educational conferences, CME activities, and collaborate with top specialists.
About the Division:
The Division's general GI Section is expanding clinical and research programs. The transplant hepatology section has one of the longest-standing liver transplant programs in the U.S. They are also home to a nationally recognized Advanced Endoscopy Section.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship programs.
- Board certified in internal medicine and Gastroenterology.
- Advanced training in hepatology and clinical experience is desirable.
- Excellent patient care and teaching skills.
