REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university
- School district to facilitate substitute teacher permit application with Michigan Department of Education (Permit paid by district)
- Fees for Livescan (fingerprinting) and substitute permit covered by district
- Both full-time and part-time roles open
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain classroom organization
- Take daily attendance
- Assist in lesson planning
- Set expectations for student behavior
- Supervise students at all times
- Ensure familiarity with emergency protocols
- Establish classroom order
- Provide student feedback
- Ensure equipment and materials are returned properly
- Use constructive communication with students and staff
