Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, lay out and perform a variety of intricate wiring on cable, connectors, electrical penetrators; junction boxes and similar equipment.
-Must be able to read and understand schematic wiring diagrams and process sheets and blueprints
-Must be able to use simple electrical instruments to make polarity determinations
-Must be able to assemble properly from detailed written or verbal instructions
-Oral/Written Communication - Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Records data; Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
Education and Experience:
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Ability to apply common sense in performing job
- Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to use basic high school math skills
- 2-4 years cable assembly experience
- Good coordination and flexibility in both hands
- Move and occasionally lift up to 50lbs. or more
- Good vision including passing color blindness test
- Factory environment
- Use of safety glasses
- Use of steel protective shoes or protective shoe covers
- ERP and Time clock system Overview
