Lead Interventional Radiology Technologist

About the Role:

Introducing a rare opportunity to join the team as a Lead Interventional Radiology / Special Procedure Technologist at Intermountain Health. Responsibilities:

  • Acquire, manipulate, and process computer enhanced and radiographic images using Interventional Radiology equipment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring informed consents and optimal results
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals for procedural protocols
  • Provide patient care coordination
  • Perform surgical scrub procedures with a focus on sterile technique
  • Administer IV contrast injections and monitor patients under sedation
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards
  • Demonstrate age-specific care skills

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program
  • Current ARRT (R) credential
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional and vascular anatomy
  • Current BLS certification and ACLS certification (or the ability to obtain)
  • Previous experience in vascular/interventional imaging preferred
