WorkSolved Staffing is actively looking for a recruiter / Ops manager.

As a CDL-A Driver Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified commercial truck drivers to join our team.

Your primary goal will be to ensure a steady influx of skilled drivers to meet our operational needs while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.


Responsibilities:

Driver Sourcing and Outreach:

Utilize various channels such as online job boards, social media platforms, industry events, and referrals to source potential candidates.


Screening and Qualification:
Review applications, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, including driving experience, safety record, and certifications.

Driver Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with prospective drivers, providing information about our company, benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Compliance Management:

Ensure all hiring processes adhere to federal and state regulations, including DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements and licensing standards.


Negotiation and Offer Management:

Negotiate employment terms with selected candidates, including compensation, benefits, and work schedules, while aligning with company policies and budgetary constraints.


Onboarding Support:

Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork completion, training scheduling, and equipment provisioning.


Performance Tracking:

Monitor driver performance and retention rates, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance recruitment and retention efforts.


Data Management:
Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, application statuses, and hiring metrics using recruitment software or other designated tools.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor practices, and regulatory changes to optimize recruitment strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the market.


Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, HR, and safety, to ensure alignment between recruitment efforts and overall business objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in driver recruitment, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Familiarity with CDL (Commercial Driver's License) requirements, DOT regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing recruitment pipelines and documentation.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment targets.
  • Proficiency in recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred.

Bonus Plan:
An aggressive bonus plan will be in place to incentivize meeting or exceeding recruitment goals and objectives. Details of the bonus structure will be provided upon hiring.
