Job Overview:

We are in need of a highly skilled IT Technical Business Analyst to join our team at Sogeti. The ideal candidate will have a vital role in creating thorough documentation, developing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and crafting technical architectural diagrams to guide the development team. This position demands a deep understanding of technical design and exceptional communication skills to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.

Main responsibilities:

Documentation and Requirements Gathering

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and gather business requirements.
  • Create detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) outlining project scope and deliverables.
  • Ensure documentation completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.

Technical Design and Architecture

  • Collaborate with the development team to produce technical architectural diagrams supporting system design.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and design documentation.
  • Ensure technical designs are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business goals.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as a link between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure clear communication.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations for requirement validation and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Provide regular project progress updates and communicate changes in requirements or timelines to stakeholders.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an IT setting.
  • Solid grasp of technical design and architecture principles.
  • Excellent documentation skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SQL query writing.
  • Experience with reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with various technical architecture frameworks.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent.
  • Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus.
