Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is looking for a Heat Treat Associate for a busy manufacturer based in Meadville Pa.

Heat Treat

Shift:
Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm

Job Purpose:
Employee will be responsible for treating carbide parts produced by other departments of the business.

This treatment involves furnaces and baths of varying temperatures from 1,100-2,000 degrees, which aid in bringing the cobalt components of the carbide parts to the surface, making the surface smooth and at optimum usability.

Key Responsibilities:
Transfer carbide parts from a furnace to one treatment bath to the next to effectively treat each part
Ability to work with little to no supervision along with peers to meet weekly deadlines
Keep a clean and organized work area to always ensure safe working quarters
All other appropriate duties as and when required by Leech Carbide Supervisors
Must be able to understand the procedures of the day to day braze-treatment operations and accurately adjust when needed to perform job safely and accurately
Provide feedback to supervisors and co-workers

Requirements:
High School Diploma.
Ability to lift 35+ pounds repeatedly through the day.
Ability to work closely with co-workers in high temperature environments.
Closely abide by work safety practices.
Previous experience not required as training will be supplied in early weeks of employment.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
