About the Job:

We are looking for a skilled mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing small engine, automotive, and heavy equipment mechanic work. Your tasks will include NC State Inspections, fluid changes, preventative maintenance services, belt changes, brake inspection and replacement, battery maintenance, and tire repair. Additionally, you will assist in the repair and diagnosis of various mechanical systems for gasoline, diesel, and alternative powered engines/equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing small engine, automotive, and heavy equipment mechanic work
  • Conducting NC State Inspections
  • Completing fluid changes, preventative maintenance services, and belt changes
  • Inspecting and replacing brake pads and shoes when necessary
  • Maintaining batteries and charging
  • Repairing tires
  • Assisting in the repair and diagnosis of mechanical systems for different types of engines/equipment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Clean driving record and valid NC license
  • Ability to obtain a NCSI license
  • Two years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting preferred
  • Familiarity with small engines, heavy equipment, and vehicles
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems such as emergency generators, hydraulic lifts, and alternative powered vehicles
  • State Inspection License is a plus

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
