Purpose of Position:
To provide support for nursing students in the Associate of Applied Science degree program
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach clinical-based courses in the Nursing program
- Implement and evaluate lab curriculum
- Develop and modify course content in collaboration with department faculty
- Provide student orientation sessions and advising
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and minimum of two years of nursing experience
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Oregon
- Ability to work with diverse student populations and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Proficiency in computer applications for instructional purposes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Prior teaching experience at the college level
- Demonstrated commitment to student success and mentoring
