Clinical Open Rank Physician, USC Brain Health Network- Geriatrician
This part-time physician role plays a pivotal role in interfacing, engaging, and facilitating collaboration between the USC Brain Health Network and current and potential stakeholders, community organizations/societies, governmental organizations, etc.
The position is responsible for creating and driving collaborative partnerships with the goal of raising awareness of brain health across the community and continuum of care.
Required Education and Experience- Has current, active SC medical license in good standing
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
Experience with senior/elderly care programs
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to assess, identify, and address individual needs.
Job Duty
The physician will collaborate with the various senior/elderly care programs across the state to enhance collaboration with the USC Brain Health Network to increase brain health awareness and improve coordination of and access to services for patients and caregivers.
The physician will develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan to ensure that the USC Brain Health Network stays connected to various stakeholders.
The physician will partner with various USC departments and other organizations to develop and implement new programs designed to create awareness of brain health and overall care for senior/elderly residents in SC.
The physician will submit quarterly progress reports to the BHN Executive Director to report on key activities and progress toward achieving established goals and key performance indicators.
