Village Caregiving – Fort Wayne is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Fremont, Indiana. This is a part-time, hourly position.

As a Caregiver, you will provide valuable assistance and support to clients in their daily activities, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay will be based on experience and qualifications.

In addition, we offer competitive benefits packages for our part-time employees, including incentive bonuses, Daily Pay card, Accidental, Vision and Dental insurance, with opportunities for career growth and development.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and medication reminders
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Light housekeeping
  • Help clients with, meal preparation
  • Document clients' progress and report any changes in their condition to the management team
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Adhere to all state and federal regulations and follow company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification, but will provide
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must pass background check
