REQUIRED SKILLS

The Role:
As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable distributed services with a high level of operational excellence.
You will design and code, troubleshoot and support.
You will follow the best practices to help build a distribution, logistics, and business analytics solution.
Basic Qualification:
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field.
• Knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented design, and data structures.
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java or Python.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum team environment to deliver high-quality software against tight schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle for a software product.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills including ability to effectively communicate with product, technical, and support teams.
• Exposure to proper SDLC including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and continuous deployment.
• Experience developing complex software systems that have successfully been delivered to customers.
• Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases
