Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an experienced licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient care and assist with therapeutic exercises and treatments as part of a plan of care. **Pay is negotiable, will depend on experience, and can be tailored to fit your individual needs.**

Duties:

Assist in implementing treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist

Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to relieve pain and control Inflammation.

Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary

Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Assist the Physical Therapist in care planning modification, documentation detail and real-life adjustments to ensure optimal patient outcome through feedback and regular meetings

Requirements:

Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant

Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

Experience in various settings such as home health, hospitals, outpatient clinics, or rehabilitation centers preferred

Proficiency in providing skilled patient care, including therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, computer proficiency for use in documentation

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Avid desire to help develop and refine clinical and wellness programs for the clinic and community settings that enhance the presence and growth of the practice

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $36.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
