PARLA

Parla is a spot to celebrate NY-style pizza and Italian-inspired cocktails from the team behind The Smith. Opening this fall on the Upper West Side, Parla is an all-day destination for lunch and dinner, with plans to serve baked goods at breakfast. The square and round pizzas are the anchors of the menu, along with house-made pastas, veggies, and shareable plates created by Executive Chef Brian Ellis. The bar specializes in espresso, wine, and cocktails using a curated selection of amari and vermouth.

We are looking to build a team of talented and passionate hospitality professionals to help us launch Parla. This is a unique opportunity to become a part of and contribute to the opening of a brand-new concept

The Position: Dishwasher

  • Ensure that the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility.
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and cooking utensils and place them in racks through the dish machine.
  • Sort and stack clean dishes.
  • Change dishwater when needed.
  • Wash necessary items by hand.
  • Remove trash and garbage.
  • Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
  • Wipe up any spills to ensure that kitchen floors remain dry.
