Tire Mechanic

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Duties:

  • Inspecting and assessing tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality, and overall health.
  • Performing preventative maintenance, minor maintenance, and minor repairs on fixed and rotating equipment
  • Recommending appropriate repair treatment or replacement of tires.
  • Repairing punctures and replacing faulty valves.
  • Installing new tires.
  • Conducting inventory and maintaining equipment.
  • Conducting road-side repairs, and field repairs.
  • Complete proper paperwork as assigned.
  • May be required to assist other maintenance employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean driving record
  • Pass a drug screen
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Respect for safety

Work Conditions:

  • Approximately 8-12 hour per day work shifts
  • Working in a traditional shop setting or outdoors in all weather conditions during the day/night
  • Climbing ladders, standing or lying in awkward positions to repair equipment, carrying and handling parts, and other physical tasks
