Epic Travel Staffing is seeking for a Travel - CVOR Tech
Shift: Days, 7a-5:30p, 10x4, 40hrs per week, no weekends, every other holiday
Length: 12 Weeks
Call: Split Vascular Call for 1/3 of the month
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a surgical tech
  • Must possess strong endovascular experience
  • Experience in a Large Hospital setting (Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience is a must)
  • Proficient in scrubbing various cases including endovascular, general, and ortho
  • AHA BLS Certification
  • Completion of an accredited surgical technologist school or equivalent military training or 10+ years' experience as a Surgery Technician
  • High school diploma or GED
Other Details:
  • Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required

•Shift: 4x10's Days (0); no weekends; every other holiday
•Call: Split Vascular Call for 1/3 of the month (can discuss with Mgr)
Minimum Requirements:
•2 years of experience as a surgical tech
•Experience in a Large Hospital setting (Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience is required)
•Completion of an accredited surgical technologist school or equivalent military training or 10+ years' experience as a Surgery Technician
•High school diploma or GED
•BLS (AHA) certification
•Must have Endovascular experience with experience in general and ortho preferred

**Summary and Purpose of Position:**

The Surgical Technologist and/or the Certified Surgical Technologist prepares the room and gathers supplies needed for surgical procedures; delivers instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intraoperatively; may function as the second assistant to the surgeon; assists in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies, and instruments postoperatively.
Candidates should have experience scrubbing a variety of cases including endovascular, general, and ortho. Service lines include GYN, General, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma. The department consists of 20 OR suites with an average volume or census of approximately 50. The hospital will provide a locker and scrubs.
