The Senior Mechanical Engineer leads and supports teams in the design, analysis, manufacture and test of digital, RF/analog and mixed microelectronics hardware at multiple levels of integration (chip, component, printed circuit board) across a multitude of platforms/domains.


Required Qualifications:


Active TS/SCI w/ polygraphBS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related technical field)15+ Years of overall engineering experience11+ years of experience working in electronics hardware design, analysis, manufacturing, and/or test.

Experience fabricating, assembling and qualifying 1st article engineering prototypesExperience with development, capture and flow-down of technical requirementsExperience developing and executing test plans and proceduresTechnical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.


Desired Qualifications:


MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related technical field)Experience with electronics hardware systems architectural definitionExperience in developing and communicating design and process information to manufacturing teams (i.e.

verbal instructions, work plans, travelers, detailed drawings)Experience with thermal analysis/modeling
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)Experience performing mechanical analysis, including structural and/or tolerance/fit.
Experience with hands-on fabrication (i.e. soldering, machining, molding, 3D printing, welding)Experience with mechanical design using Computer Aided Design (CAD) (i.e.

SolidWorks Software)Familiarity with printed circuit board (PCB) fabricationFamiliarity with common electronics assembly processesFamiliarity with wafer and chip-scale fabrication and interconnects
This position is contingent upon the successful completion of security processing and favorable acceptance onto the program by the Customer.



Clearance Requirement:

This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of full scope polygraph.

Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government. Factors considered for a U.S.

Government Security Clearance include, but are not limited to:
