We manage a 206-bed standalone children's hospital featuring the region's sole Level I pediatric trauma center, alongside 45 sites offering primary care, specialty care, outpatient surgery, urgent care, and support services. In 2022, we unveiled a new pediatric mental health center to enhance our existing mental health initiatives. With over 3,500 dedicated staff members, we are committed to providing top-notch, compassionate care to all families in need.

We are looking for empathetic, skilled, and dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse to contribute to the well-being of our patients and their incredible families. This position is based at our Norfolk Main Hospital and follows a standard schedule of Full-Time w/ on-call shifts, alternating between days and nights, including weekends.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • An Associates in Nursing/Diploma in Nursing with relevant experience, although a BSN is preferred.
  • Current Virginia state RN license or RN with a valid Compact State license.
  • Require CPR certification or ability to obtain it within 45 days of hiring.
