Provides clinical and programmatic oversight and supervision to Qualified Professionals, who are providing behavioral health services on regional basis. These interventions are strengths based and focused on promoting recovery.

This professional assists individual's to increase their functioning so they can be successful and satisfied in the environment of their choice with the least amount of professional intervention.

This is done through direct and indirect skills teaching and the development of natural and formal supports. Provides on-call and first responder consultation in the event of consumer crisis. Assists in the evaluation of high risk behaviors on an emergent and routine basis. Relies on extensive expertise, knowledge, experience, and judgment to supervise the clinical operations of a unit or a region.
We are hiring Behavioral Health Program Manager We offer a $1,000 sign-bonus after six months. Opportunity to gain certification as a psychiatric rehabilitation professional.

Pay rate:
$40,000Bonus: $1,000 after six months of employment.
Bonus is for full time employees and paid out according to training schedule.

Schedule:
Full Time Monday
  • Friday 8 4 Additional hours based on service needsResponsibilities:Serve as the primary team leader supporting individuals with Mental Health or Substance Abuse Issues in residential, school, workplace and community settings.
Coordinates and monitors the array of services and supports identified in each person's Person Centered Plan.

Works closely with other paraprofessional and clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardize procedures and expedite PCP implementation.

Provides clinical or administrative supervision to all employeesAssists the Regional Director in ensuring that whenever necessary the appropriate transition to another level/type of care for the person supported is sought after appropriate staffing with the Regional Clinical CoordinatorAssists the Regional Director in providing leadership to employees by promoting harmony among co-workers and clearly reinforcing company and site office objectives and strategiesMonitors and ensures interventions are performed face-to-face outside the facility, and that each person supported receives required number of contacts per service definitionActively participates in financial maintenance, budget monitoring, and budget creation and plans of corrective action to improve unit performance and meet targetsAssists in the resolution of complaints/issuers and serves as role model employees, visitors, the general public and individuals being serves

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and two years' work experience in mental health direct service, one year of which must be work experience in PRS.

CPRP certification shall be attained within two years from the date of hire as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist; ORCurrent CPRP certificationPhysical requirements to perform essential functions of the job included:
Regularly required to lift 10 lbs.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs.
Must be able to pull minimum of 10 lbs.
Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to regularly stand and walk.

Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting.

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
