Job Summary and Qualifications
- Provide and coordinate care for patients as a Registered Nurse.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to offer support to patients and their families.
- Responsibilities include assessments, developing care plans, medication administration, documentation, patient education, equipment maintenance, and communication of patient needs.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
- Demonstrate knowledge of patient care appropriate to different age groups.
- Promote hospital customer service initiatives and utilize the nursing process for individual patient care.
- Perform technical skills and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS and PALS certifications within a specified timeframe of employment.
- Crisis Prevention Intervention certification within 6 months of employment.
