Senior Pure Barre Fitness Instructor

Pure Barre offers a total body workout that involves small, isometric movements using the ballet barre to help you burn fat, sculpt muscles, and achieve long, lean physiques. It has become increasingly popular thanks to its highly effective technique, welcoming and energetic environment, and enjoyable, motivating music.


POSITION:
The Pure Barre Fitness Instructor will guide groups of up to 24 participants through the Pure Barre experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Teach a minimum of 5 classes weekly, available during various times including early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Thoroughly plan and prepare for each class by studying choreography and class content ahead of time
  • Regularly learn new choreography to keep classes engaging and fresh
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized studio space
  • Engage in activities like lifting hand weights and demonstrating full body pushups while keeping a high-energy level throughout the 50-minute class
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be a certified Pure Barre Teacher with at least 18 months of teaching experience
  • Display enthusiasm, confidence, and a friendly demeanor
  • Passionate about fitness, wellness, and supporting others in their journey
  • Capable of building strong client relationships through exceptional customer service
  • Lead an active and health-focused lifestyle
  • Reliable, dedicated, and willing to go the extra mile
  • Confident in leading a group of 20 individuals with high energy
  • Show musicality by keeping rhythm and staying on beat with the music
  • Background in dance, fitness, cheerleading, or barre concepts is a plus
  • Complete a 4-day training session at a corporate center and additional preparation before teaching
  • Commit to a minimum one-year teaching tenure before attending training
  • Have taken a minimum of 50 Pure Barre classes
