JOB SUMMARY:

  • We are seeking a Financial Analyst/Accounts Payable Analyst to be onsite 3x a week in the Riverwoods, IL office. Candidate must have experience with Oracle, SAP, accounting, accounts payable, strong Excel, as well as account reconciliation.
  • This position will report to the Manager of Financial Systems and is part of a team tasked with developing, implementing and maintaining specific financial systems for the Accounts Payable Team. The Financial Systems Analyst will assist in the completion of day-to-day system administration related processes as well as the research and administration of changes and updates to the system(s).
  • Location: Riverwoods, IL HYBRID
  • Pay: $42-50/hr

Must Have:

  • Accounting/AP
  • advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excel Pivot

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform maintenance of application metadata.
  • Manage/monitor data integrity by performing problem identification & resolution of issues related to financial applications.
  • Develop and maintain application security.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Comfortable communicating with all levels of leadership, Business Units, and Teams.
  • Provide data insight, extraction, and analysis as required to meet the needs of internal customers.
  • Maintain and update system documentation.
  • Participate in testing applications relating to upgrades and application/system modifications.
  • Promote a risk-aware culture that proactively seeks to mitigate risk where appropriate.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years of demonstrated work experience in financial reporting, accounting, finance or systems.
  • 2+ years of (SaaS) cloud application work experience preferably working with systems supporting Accounts Payable processes (SAP Concur & Oracle A/P).
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field of study.
  • MS Office (especially Excel)

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of demonstrated work experience in financial reporting, accounting, finance or systems.
  • 2+ years of (SaaS) cloud application work experience preferably working with systems supporting Accounts Payable processes (SAP Concur Expense, Oracle A/P).
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field of study.
  • MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to own processes.
  • Must be able to interact effectively with varying levels of management and have the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines within short timeframes a must.
