Looking for a Senior Java/AEM Engineer

Location: Hybrid role based in Camden, NJ

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 12 Month Contract with potential for permanent position

Compensation: $75-100 per hour on W2

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the backend engineering team for the Website
  • Engage in a mix of hands-on tasks and defining requirements, conducting code reviews, etc.
  • Assist in migrating backend services to AWS as part of the cloud migration process
  • Collaborate on a project to enable comparison of models and functionalities on the site, a feature not currently available
  • Contribute to building the necessary backend functionalities to support this feature
  • Participate in 2-week sprints, attend daily standups and retrospectives
  • Work closely with a nearshore team and conduct code reviews with one onsite team member
  • Provide direct support to marketing team initiatives, involving onsite meetings with them

Qualifications

  • Over 8 years of practical experience in Java programming
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct code reviews and offer guidance to team members
  • Exposure, even if indirect, to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
