Temporary Role: 3 to 6 months with a potential for a permanent position at HP Hood LLC.

Schedule:
- Overnights, 10-hour shifts, four days a week, with additional daily overtime as required for deliveries.

- Shift timings range from early morning to late night, offering flexibility based on delivery needs.

Role Overview:
Support Distribution Drivers by assisting with unloading, quality checks, and product deliveries along designated routes. As a Driver Helper, you will work alongside the driver for efficient product distribution.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in a dynamic, outdoor role involving continual lifting, lowering, and carrying of products.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with delivery routes and product handling requirements.
  • Uphold the Company's image through professional and courteous interactions with customers.
  • Assist in unloading, product quality checks, and rotation at customer locations.
  • Accompany Class A Drivers to various destinations to facilitate deliveries.
  • Handle customer concerns with professionalism and follow company safety protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, drivers, and customers.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is a must.
  • Prior experience with handcart and electric pallet jack is advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and color identification.
  • Strong communication skills and basic arithmetic proficiency.
  • Ability to manage product delivery schedules and work efficiently in a team setting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regular lifting of products up to 50 pounds during shifts; occasional lifting up to 80 pounds.
  • Capability to climb on and off the truck bed as needed.
  • Routine bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling activities.

Working Conditions:

  • Cold warehouse settings requiring adaptability to extreme weather conditions.
  • Willingness to work in hot weather, rain, or very cold temperatures.
