We are currently looking for a QA Label Inspector to join our team in Springville, UT. We have a fun, supportive and great team that you'll enjoy working with

The Quality Control Label Inspector performs a variety of working level and technical duties as needed to assure the ongoing compliance with the quality standards and specifications in an assigned work unit, including but not limited to the production floor, shipping receiving and outbound inspection.

Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.

As a QA Label Inspector, you will:

  • Ensure all labels, labeled containers, film, cartons, bottles, caps and droppers are approved for use by verifying that each new shipment matches the signed and approved proof currently in use
  • Inspect cartons and labels for correct measurements, color variations, current artwork revision and visual defects
  • Place all labels or film on hold that vary from a customer signed approved proof
  • Work with QA, Customer Service, and purchasing to solve any component non compliances and discrepancies
  • Disposition any unusable or rejected film, cartons or labels returned from production
  • Tag and sticker all incoming components with an Internal IFP Lot code # and identification sticker
  • Work closely with Customer Service in supplying accurate inventory counts and current revs being used
  • Keep, update, maintain and organize all applicable spreadsheets, files and retains
  • Ensure that labels are kept secure and organized with proper Identification stickers
  • Ensure the current artwork file is updated with current revs and expired artwork is archived on the server
  • Keep a retain of all shipments (labels, film, carton, bottle, caps, and droppers) in a product/customer specific binder or totes in label control room
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Cross Training on QA final inspection tasks will be required

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to read, speak and understand basic English
  • Must possess oral / written communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Follow GMP standards and guidelines
  • Understand and apply information set forth in SOP's
  • Handle confidential information
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months to 1.5 years related Quality experience

Physical Demands

Frequently involves sedentary work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Involves a variety of physical activities including:

  • Walking
  • Manual dexterity
  • Talking
  • Hearing
  • Repetitive motions

Work Environment

The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, and mandatory hearing protection. For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
