POSITION SUMMARY
  • Responsible for delivering patient care following the nursing process
  • Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Directing patient teaching activities and ancillary personnel
  • Maintaining professional nursing standards
  • Assessing physical, psychological, and psychosocial dimensions of patients
  • Planning individual treatment programs and utilizing treatment protocols
  • Administering medications according to physician's orders and approved procedures
  • Consulting with healthcare providers and correctional staff as needed


JOB REQUIREMENTS

To qualify you need:

LICENSING: Registered nurse license

CERTIFICATION: Current CPR certification

EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year clinical experience, corrections experience is a plus
