We are looking for a committed, grounded, professional, and compassionate acupuncturist with a passion for reproductive health to join our team.


Minimum Requirements

  • Passionate about supporting reproductive health, fertility & pregnancy clients.
  • ABORM certification or willingness to obtain it is a plus. Advanced CEUs in the above categories are a must.
  • You are not working at another nearby clinic or your own nearby private practice.
  • Must be a California licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.)
  • Master's Degree in Acupuncture or Chinese Medicine from an accredited institution
  • 12 years postlicensure experience
  • Carry your own malpractice insurance
  • Willing to make a oneyear commitment
  • Able to work weekends/evenings (as required)
  • Ability to treat 2 patients per hour
  • Must be available and willing to work afternoon/evening shifts and possibly Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the client's condition by conducting a health history and interview, observing the client, and interpreting findings
  • Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment and adhere to Clean Needle Technique protocols; complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and laws.
  • Administer acupuncture treatment using sterile, singleuse needles at specified locations to address the patient's chief complaint.
  • Document patient treatments by charting in electronic records
  • Provide a recommended course of treatment
  • Light cleaning and restocking of supplies as needed.
AVAILABILITY & DISPOSITION

  • Ability to make patients feel safe and comfortable during acupuncture treatments
  • Ability to center clients and give them space to be heard and cared for.
  • Comfortable working with a diverse population of clients including LGBTQ+
  • Interested in collaboration but also able to work independently.
  • Value your selfcare and wellbeing as the foundation for caring for others.
  • Are committed, punctual, and reliable.
  • Are a great listener and have a compassionate presence for our clients.
  • Willingness to learn and implement new techniques and treatment protocols
  • Commit to writing one blog post per month
  • Confident in presenting and selling services and products
  • Maintain a professional appearance and wear company approved attire

TECHNOLOGY

  • Ability to work independently processing payments and rescheduling as needed.
  • Exceptional time management and ability to treat multiple patients per hour while running on time.
