We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst to provide fast and helpful technical assistance on computer systems. The Help Desk Analyst will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. This role responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determine and implements solution. An excellent Help Desk Analyst must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must also be customer-oriented.

This role is Full-time and will be required to work onsite in Mukilteo, WA from 9:30-6pm Monday - Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Help Desk ticketing system - respond to email messages from customers with urgency and follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved.
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and problems related to computer systems, software, hardware and printers either in person or over the phone.
  • Manages
  • Continuously manages the Vimly's knowledge base, technical document draft, editing, and general updates.
  • Train computer users and gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
  • Maintain performance of computer systems; run diagnostic programs to resolve issues when necessary.
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem and walk customer through problem-solving process.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software, installing computer peripherals for users when necessary.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
Qualifications:
  • A technical background in IT via technical school and/or other formal training, plus an internship in IT is preferred; other relevant work experience in IT will be considered.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft SQL, Windows Server
  • Strong skills within MS-Office 2016 applications (WORD, EXCEL, Visio, PowerPoint) and experience with Office365
  • A fierce desire to learn -determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience writing training manuals.
  • Lifting Requirements: Up to 25 pounds - Frequently, 26-50 pounds - Occasionally, 51-60 pounds - Rarely
  • Ability to work on-site, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30am-6pm.

Pay rate: $24.00 hour. This role is non-exempt and eligible for approved overtime. Actual compensation offered may vary depending upon many factors, including a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
