Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team in our Westchester County showroom.

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for selling kitchen, laundry and outdoor products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Pay will be hourly as well as through manufacturer commission programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
  • Assist customers with their purchasing decisions
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and goals
  • Upsell additional products or accessories to customers
  • Stay uptodate with product knowledge and industry trends

Skills:

  • MUST BE A PEOPLE PERSON. If you do not enjoy people this is not the right fit for you.
  • Basic math skills for processing transactions
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers
  • Strong upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities
