Radiology Clerk

Job Summary:

The Radiology Clerk is responsible for providing clerical, filing and patient related support in the functional areas of records keeping, scheduling, communications and processing, entering orders, release and return of film using knowledge of Radiology systems and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma.
  • Must have experience in some clerical area or equivalent training.
  • One year of experience is preferred but an on the job program may be acceptable if interpersonal skills are shown in handling patient needs, schedules and patient communication.
  • Must have good organizational skills and must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
  • Computer skills required with Windows and other systems.
  • Should have working knowledge in Medical Terminology.
