Position Overview:
As a Fully Licensed Therapist at Provident Behavioral Health, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the individuals you serve.
In this role, you will be able to utilize your expertise and experience to help our clients improve their mental and emotional health.
Our billing and administrative support team is ready to assist you with scheduling, collecting copays, billing, invoicing, and other administrative tasks, helping you prioritize time to help your clients.
A sign on bonus in the amount of $2,500 will be paid out over the first 6 months of employment throughout 12 semi-monthly pay periods to candidates who are offered and accepted the position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities AccountabilitiesProvides in-person and telehealth counseling to individual and families. Evaluates clients from a strength-based and client-focused perspective.
Complete initial and annual Mental Health Assessments and Treatment Plans with all clients and documents in Electronic Health Record (EHR) Conducts suicide risk screening on all clients at intake and throughout the treatment process.
Engages in Safety Planning for clients at moderate or higher risk of suicide. Completes documentation in an accurate and timely manner, in compliance with established agency documentation timelines and standards. Consistently achieves or exceeds monthly and annual impact targets for percentage of time spent directly supporting clients. Participates in promoting Providents mission within the community and creating awareness of the services Provident provides. Builds, maintains, and manages a client case load consistent with agency requirements.Effectively manage caseload, as evidenced by ability to accept additional clients, close inactive files in a timely manner, take adequate steps to avoid client abandonment and making attempts to re-engage clients.
Participates and engages in required supervision, staff meetings, and agency-wide meetings.Works collaboratively with other departments, providing the best possible service not only to our clients but also our internal customers and colleagues.
Participates, as requested, in agency-wide projects, planning, etc. Maintains strict adherence to all agency procedures, regulatory standards, and professional ethics.Maintain license and be in good standing in the state of Missouri Routinely administers, scores, and interprets outcome measures to track clinical progress.
Demonstrate knowledge and ability to utilize Evidence Based Treatment Modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, Play Therapy, MI, DBT, EMDR and PCIT.
Work Conditions and EnvironmentWorking out of our Creve Coeur location with some remote work available. Work schedule is a hours per week. Ability to travel to other Provident sites when needed. Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection to work remotely. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Have the ability to sit for long periods of time.
