This role entails overseeing the precise crafting of all cakes, pastries, and desserts. We seek candidates who have a genuine enthusiasm for designing and creating cakes to bring joy and contentment to our patrons

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accountable for measuring, decorating, and producing a variety of desserts, pastries, and cakes.
• General understanding of production techniques and organization of confectionery tasks.
• Eager to acquire new techniques and demonstrate proficient practices to fellow cake decorators.
• Upholding sanitation standards and ensuring a tidy work environment.
• Capable of effectively managing time and demonstrating strong organizational skills.
• Thorough knowledge of recipes and production procedures for all items.
• Ensure the visual appeal of cake displays for both internal and external clientele.
• Prepare creams and sauces for confectionery creations.
• Receive, stock, and store ingredients in designated areas in an orderly fashion.
• Notify supervisors of any equipment malfunctions and keep track of food supplies.
• Execute additional related tasks as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Willingness to work overnight shifts (2AM - 10AM)
• Join our team for a fully compensated training program commencing in early November in Jersey City, NJ
• Preferred background in confectionery or food services.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team setting.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Skilled in managing several priorities effectively.
• Feedback is crucial for improvement and customer service enhancement.
• Possess high emotional intelligence to work with and lead diverse teams through empathy and motivation.
• Team-oriented approach, fostering a connected and supportive work environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay range: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected work hours: 40 per week

SCHEDULE:

• Monday to Friday
• Overnight shifts
• Weekends as necessary

Relocation Requirement: Relocation to Dresher, PA 19025 is necessary before commencing employment.
