ResponsibilitiesAscension Saint Agnes seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist to serve as Section Chief of the Cardiology Department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with Ascension Saint Agnes in delivering medical services and physician leadership to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight of healthcare delivered within assigned area.
- Assume responsibility for assigned budgets.
- Supervise subsections and staff deployment.
- Monitor safety, performance, and satisfaction.
- Develop care systems and contribute to education programs.

Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians required.
- Board certified/eligible in Specialty as per hospital Medical Staff by-laws required.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD), or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
